Terms and Conditions Legal Details


1. You must have a confirmed booking made on or through our Call Centre. 

The rate terms and conditions found must fully match the terms and conditions of the rate booked at*: 

- same data: hotel, room type, number of guests, dates of stay and duration. 

- same terms and conditions: currency, sale, payment, modification/cancellation* terms of the booking, etc. 

* If the cancellation and/or the modification policies do not coincide, the most restrictive policy will prevail. 

3. You must send your request within 24 hours of your purchase and at least 24 hours before your arrival at the hotel. 

4. The request must include a screenshot of the cheaper rate found on another website, including the date and time of that rate. 

5. Only one price match request per customer can be submitted during the 24 hour period. 

6. If the cheaper internet rate is for a booking lasting several nights, the guarantee covers the final price of the entire booking, not the individual rates for each night. 

7. The cheapest rate found must be exclusive of any taxes associated with the city/country in question or any other taxes associated with the room rate. 

8. The total difference found on another website must be more than €5. If the price difference exceeds 25%, and unless prohibited by law, Barceló Hotel Group reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer and the terms and conditions at any time, at its sole discretion. 

When a price match request is made at the weekend, that is to say, from Friday at 16.00 PM (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time), the price match may be delayed until Monday (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time). 

Exceptions to the guaranteed best online price


We firmly stand by our commitment to guaranteeing the best online rate. Similarly, we communicate this discipline to the establishment by outlining some rules and limitations in order to guarantee the best online rate. In the following cases, the best price guaranteed will not apply and therefore the price matching request will not be accepted.


1. Bookings made through a channel that does not belong to or any other non-designated channel, except the Call Centre.

2. Rates available on opaque hotel booking websites. In other words, websites where the hotel brand, complete name, exact location, category or any other specific details are not known until the booking is made.

3. Rates relating to what are known as promotional packages, i.e. hotel or travel packages that may include hotel, flights, car hire and food and drinks offers or other similar packages or services.

4. Rates that are not publicly guaranteed: negotiated rates, group rates, business rates, etc.

Bookings made through clubs which sell privately or require registration.

6. Rates which contain errors on the website at the time of enquiry or booking.

7. Prepaid voucher rates.

Bookings made within 24 hours before arrival at the hotel.

9. Disparities in rates due to fluctuations, rounding or differences in currency exchange rates.

10. rates that already include exclusive group benefits (meetings, events, congresses or conferences), whether they are special services or discounts.
